This vintage 1968 Blackglama mink advertisement features the legendary Judy Garland in one of the most celebrated luxury fur campaigns of the 1960s — 'What Becomes A Legend Most?' The original print ad shows Garland enveloped in an exquisite extra-dark natural mink coat by Great Lakes Mink men, designed by master furrier Revillon at Saks Fifth Avenue. The campaign, which ran throughout the late 1960s and 1970s, paired Hollywood's greatest icons with Blackglama's signature fur, making each collectible ad a document of American glamour at its peak. A rare and desirable magazine advertisement for fashion collectors and Garland devotees alike.
