Omega

Where Rolex sold you a place among the world's achievers, Omega sold its own presence at the achievements themselves—the podium, the ocean floor, the surface of the Moon. Tracing its name to the movement Louis Brandt's sons perfected in 1894, Omega grew into a brand defined by the moments it was there to measure. Its advertising leaned on an unmatched trio of associations: official Olympic timekeeper since 1932, the Speedmaster as the first watch worn on the Moon, and the Seamaster on the wrist of James Bond. From the 1957 Speedmaster pitched to "men who reckon time in seconds" to the moon-landing ads that eventually dropped every other slogan for "The First Watch Worn on the Moon," the copy always tied the watch to a larger achievement. This collection gathers those vintage prints, spanning the Speedmaster, Seamaster, Constellation, and the brand's Olympic and space heritage.
